Welcome to WTF Chronicles, where questionable choices make great stories.
WTF Chronicles LLC ("Company," "WTF Chronicles," "we," "us," or "our") operates a storytelling and entertainment brand, including our website, social media content, story submission services, newsletters, and related activities.
By accessing or using our website, you agree to these Terms & Conditions and acknowledge our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the website.
Submitting a story is also subject to our Story Submission & Publication Agreement.
2. Eligibility
Our story submission services are intended for individuals 18 years of age or older.
By submitting content, you represent that you are at least 18 years old and legally capable of agreeing to the applicable terms.
3. Our Stories and Content
WTF Chronicles features real-life experiences, personal recollections, humor, commentary, and creative storytelling.
Stories may reflect contributors' individual perspectives and may be edited, adapted, narrated, or dramatized with appropriate authorization.
We do not independently verify every detail of every submitted story and do not represent that all contributor accounts are independently established facts.
Views expressed in contributor stories do not necessarily represent the views of WTF Chronicles LLC.
4. Story Submissions
You may voluntarily submit written stories, audio recordings, photographs, videos, and other supporting materials.
By submitting content, you grant WTF Chronicles LLC limited permission to receive, securely store, privately review, and evaluate the materials, and to contact you regarding your submission.
Submitting content does not automatically authorize its public release.
Publication requires separate affirmative permission under our Story Submission & Publication Agreement.
You retain ownership of your original content, subject to any publication license you subsequently grant.
5. Contributor Responsibilities
You agree not to knowingly submit:
Material that you do not have the right to provide.
Deliberately false factual allegations about identifiable individuals.
Content intended to threaten, harass, or unlawfully harm another person.
Unlawfully obtained private recordings or confidential information.
Nonconsensual intimate imagery.
Content that infringes another person's copyright, privacy, publicity, or other legal rights.
Malicious files or content intended to interfere with our systems.
You are responsible for the materials you submit and the accuracy of representations you make regarding your rights to those materials.
We may decline, remove, or request changes to submissions at our discretion.
6. Privacy and Confidentiality
We value the privacy and trust of our contributors.
We will not intentionally publicly disclose a contributor's private contact information or unpublished submission without authorization, except where disclosure is required by law or necessary to address a serious safety or legal concern.
Authorized personnel and contracted service providers may access information when necessary to operate our services.
We use reasonable safeguards to protect submitted information, but cannot guarantee absolute confidentiality or security.
Our Privacy Policy describes our information practices in greater detail.
7. Intellectual Property
The WTF Chronicles name, logos, branding, original graphics, website designs, and original company-created content are owned by WTF Chronicles LLC or used under appropriate licenses.
Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of a contributor's original submitted content to WTF Chronicles LLC.
Visitors may not reproduce, redistribute, or commercially exploit protected WTF Chronicles content without permission, except as allowed by law.
8. Third-Party Services
Our website and submission process may use third-party providers, including Squarespace, GoHighLevel, Dropbox, email delivery providers, and social media platforms.
Those services may operate under their own terms and privacy policies.
We are not responsible for independent third-party websites or services outside our control, subject to applicable law.
9. Merchandise, Events, and Future Services
WTF Chronicles may introduce merchandise, memberships, live events, sponsorships, or other products and services.
Additional purchase terms, refund policies, event rules, or membership conditions will be disclosed when those services become available.
10. No Guarantee of Availability
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue website features, submission opportunities, or other services.
We do not guarantee that every submitted story will be reviewed within a particular period or selected for publication.
11. Disclaimers
Our website and content are provided for general entertainment and informational purposes.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, our services are provided without warranties of uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, or suitability for any particular purpose.
Nothing in these Terms limits rights or warranties that cannot legally be excluded.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, WTF Chronicles LLC will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of our website or services.
This limitation does not apply where prohibited by law and does not exclude liability for conduct or obligations that cannot legally be limited.
